Hardware-Upgrade
If you have a DegerPipes II chanter (which doesn't necessarily have to be in working order) that's still in good condition, I can convert it into a DegerPipes III chanter.
If you're not sure whether you have Mark I or II, you can tell for sure by the position of the battery compartment: Mark I has the battery (1x 9V) at the bottom, and Mark II (2x AAA) at the top. Only the DegerPipes Mark II Chanters can be upgraded.
You would need to return your Chanter. I would replace the complete electronics including front panel, add the internal speaker and a milling recess for the USB port. You will receive your chanter back, which, apart from the existing signs of wear, is indistinguishable from a new DegerPipes III chanter. All parts that are subject to wear and tear are replaced afterward (battery compartment, push buttons, jacks).
This would cost 275 Euros + p&p (Germany: 6€, Europe: 20€, most other countries: 30€). The work itself would be done within a few days. There is no additional waiting time. Please contact me if you need more information.
